When an enourmous energy cloud emerges from deep
space, and begins destroying outposts and ships, Admiral Kirk is
compelled to return to the newly refitted and untested U.S.S.
Enterprise. The crew must find a way to communicate with the intruder,
before it destroys Earth and the Federation.

planet is under attack and the crew work out thay only way to stop it,

McCoy are summoned back, when a religious uprising on a remote planet
threatens to start a war with the Klingons, Romulans and the Federation.
